VIM Pathways

The VIM Pathways are a group of Connecticut volunteers serving as Volunteers in Mission to Mississippi, which first began in January 2006 as the Lamp Lighters. We are lead by the Simsbury United Methodist Church VIM team and are committed to sending several teams each year to help rebuild homes in Mississippi. We represent a diverse group of churches and denominations serving in this mission of rebuilding and bringing renewed hope to areas of Hurricane Katrina-devastated coastal Mississippi.

January 17, 2009 - ready to go

Team #80 from the New York Annual Conference (NYAC) is ready to go to Biloxi. We will be working on new construction. This is usually the result of a decision to level the house down to the cement pad and start over. For us it will be sheet rock on new wall studs. This is a truly blessed team with many talents. We have a group of many that have worked together in previous teams and new inspiring individuals that will provide fresh visions for our horizon. Please wish the VIM Pathways well as we go to do our calling.
